In order to comply with the requirements of health and safety legislation with regards to the risks of operatives working at height and also with the increasing demands of insurers to reduce risks, it is vital to ensure that your personnel are adequately protected when working at height on their vehicles.

Bi-LINE is a unique restraint system providing permanent 'hands-free' secured access over the entire working area of the vehicle. A patented, system specific lanyard connects to the Bi-LINE belt via a single clip-on safety hook and gives unrestricted access in both directions along the walkway. It will prevent a fall, even if the operative should become unconscious.

Designed for use on road, rail and de-mountable tanker walkways, Bi-LINE can be fitted from new or retro-fitted to existing tanks with purpose made welded brackets or, in many cases, bolt on brackets avoiding the need for degassing and retesting. It is easily removed from decommissioned vehicles for installation onto their like-for-like replacements.

Bi-LINE weighs between 8Kg - 12Kg and remains permanently in its operating position with no need for complex set-up and stowage operations. The low profile design has a negligible effect on the vehicle height or gross weight. Each bespoke installation features a Bi-LINE belt harness as standard, with an optional full body harness available for use the Capcha overhead fall arrest system.

Bi-LINE gives your operative maximum freedom of movement via a dual restraint lanyard, with unrestricted access in both directions along and across the roof of the vehicle, and the ability to turn through 180º whilst remaining comfortably restrained from falling. An additional lanyard option is available to allow for dual use by two operatives. Once fitted, the system remains permanently in its operating position. Its low profile Installation has little effect on the overall vehicle dimensions, virtually eliminating the potential for impact damage.
